Remy hair

Remy Hair is sourced directly from the temples in India. This hair is sorted by style and length, washed, and cleaned. Most importantly however, is that with Remy Hair you can count on the highest quality tangle free product. If any hair does fall or get removed in this multi-stage process, the hair is separated and stocked with other Non Remy hair. Each set of Remy hair comes from one individual person. In order to keep the cuticles in the same direction to maintain quality, Remy hair will have a natural taper of six to eight inches depending on the length.

Double Drawn hair

Double Drawn hair is sourced from temples, salons and barbershops throughout India. This hair is collected, separated by length, cleaned, and washed. Non-Remy hair is traditionally used to make equal length extensions with little taper. Non-Remy hair generally requires more attention and will last a shorter time than Remy hair. Wefting takes place after careful selection of hair quality. will have a natural taper of six to eight inches depending on the length.

Wefting is a 3-stage process

1. Selection of like-size lengths and undertaking quality controls to make sure that each weft is the length required by the customer.

2. Removing lose hair from wefts occurs through continuous brushing of the hair so that the customer does not receive a product that sheds.

3. Finishing the weft by reducing the overlap of hair through labor intensive hand-cutting process.

Tips and Bonds are made by hand at IHI

This product undertakes a three step process to reach a fine product.

1. Selection of like-size lengths and undertaking quality controls to make sure that each weft is the length required by the customer.

2. Using high quality silicone or keratin, depending on customer needs, to IHI hair to finalize the product.

3. Quality testing of the tips, for hardness, durability and strength of tip.
